Site Agent (Substations) - FILLED
About this Role:
My client is a Regional Civil Engineering Contractor with a turnover of circa £150M.
The sectors that they are presently involved in include;
River & Marine
Water & Waste
Power & Energy
They are looking to appoint a permanent Site Agent having successfully been awarded a number of National Grid projects on Substations. Applicants must therefore be BESC & Competent Persons qualified.
You will be responsible for managing Civil Engineering Projects from planning stage through to final accounts. Responsibilities will include site supervision, health & safety management, supervising labour, producing method statements and risk assessments, site cost/value control, programming, commercial reporting, client liaison, organizing plant & materials and you will be responsible for all correspondence and record keeping in accordance with company procedures.
You are likely to have an Engineering background and are likely to have obtained a HNC in Civil Engineering. You may currently be working as a Site Agent for a Civil Engineering Contractor or you may be a Senior Engineer or a Sub-Agent who is looking for the opportunity to move your career forward. Either way, it is vital that you possess excellent people management skills and have the drive and enthusiasm to manage a project through to completion, within budget and program.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
A BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with recent and relevant experience in a similar role.
