Stores /Logistics Manager
About this Role:
My client is immediately looking for an experienced logistics manager/ stores manager to work on high security £ 10 mill project on site till next April
About the Company/Client/Project:
The role is with the project team at reporting to a project manager to look after the site deliveries the stores on site and the materials for the construction project over the course of the next 10 months.
Joining the team from initial site set up through to managing and coordinating the delivery’s and general housekeeping and of multiple work areas and traffic marshals and labour as the week’s progress you will be the site based person in charge of the construction materials .
Dealing with the sub-contractors and labour on site you will assist the project manager to cover the ground and make sure the materials are in the right place at the right time and all items are checked in and out of the yard / stores area .
You will be key both in Dailey and weekly meetings and the out on site management, logistics and martials of the contractors as required as well as pre start meeting and logistical queries’ on the project .
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Applicants will ideally have CSCS SMSTS and 1st aid as well as experience as a fulltime logistics manager / store supervisor on major projects for the main contractors from start to finish in excess of £5 million in the past
Ideally candidates should be organized with good IT and paperwork skills and have done a similar role in the past and local to Hampshire.
