Small Works Site Manager
About this Role:
Site Manager required to work for the Special Works Division of a Main Contractor based out of the Oxford office.
Projects range in value from £50K - £1M and include refurbishments and new build in a variety of sectors including education, commercial and health & leisure.
You will have come from a trades background, ideally carpentry and joinery and have experience of working as No.1 Site Manager on small works projects up to £1M within the build and maintenance sector.
You will be responsible for managing site based construction activities for your section/buildings, including short-term programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, site logistics, quality control, inspection and test plans, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, issue resolution, etc, snagging and handover.

Projects range from design-and-build, new-build, restoration and refurbishment work on a range of projects, including complex projects, up to £20 million, as well as providing turnkey maintenance services for smaller schemes.
Construction services across the education, arts and culture, commerce and industry, healthcare, emergency services, elderly care, sports and leisure, ecclesiastical and defence sectors.
