Site Manager (Sub-Station Civils)
About this Role:
As a Site Manager you will manage this project in circa £2.5 million. You will work with the general foreman, site engineer, visiting HSEQ advisor and site operatives to ensure this project is completed to the highest standard, on time and within budget. It is required you have worked within a sub-station previously to emphasise and implement the importance of health and safety regulations on site.
This project will include upgrading all of the security works to house the material and electrical elements which will include:
Re-enforced concrete slabs
Enabling works and Infrastructure

This international leading multi-disciplinary contractor specialising in designing, manufacturing and delivering projects have been proven in the construction industry for over 50 years’. The project you will manage is 1 of 19 included in a National Grid framework worth £45 million over 3 years’.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Ideally you will be a minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualified. You will have worked within the power industry and be vastly experienced around sub-stations and be confident in delivering a project in this environment. Requirements include:
National Grid experience
SHEA gas & BESC electric tickets
SMSTS and CSCS
Confident with writing RAMS
Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
