Site Manager/Sub Agent (Highways)
About this Role:
Highways experienced Site Manager or assistant site manager/sub agent required to work on a freelance/contract basis.
We are recruiting for an established Highways contractor that require a candidate that is capable of organising and coordinating site works in the highways sector.
You will be required to work night shifts and be responsible for setting up site works but also managing them on site. The works involve highways improvement/maintenance works around the M25 and in particular on structures work to include concrete repairs in particular, drainage schemes and general civil engineering.
Previous experience and knowledge of traffic management would be beneficial You will be required to place orders with sub-contractors, liaise with designers, book road space, write Risk assessments and method statements, project management plans, HSEQ procedures, permits and full organising of site files. You will be required to a mange a supervisor and liaise with alongside other stakeholders.
This project is available for an immediate start and the client is looking for someone from an engineering background.

The contractor is a national organisation working in the highways/civil engineering disciplines with also successful divisions covering housing, rail and principle contracting.

To be considered for this position you must a CSCS card and previous proven experience working on highways projects. SMSTS and First Aid is also required and a background in engineering ideally qualified to HNC/ONC or degree level.
