About this Role:
We have a position for a site manager/foreman that can join an established site team to assist with the completion of a project in Wiltshire. Working for the sub-contractor who has been carrying out the ground works for a housing site. They require a manager to work between the site based foreman and project manager. This role will carry a number of duties including site inductions, checking plant, quality checks, Quality assurance sign off, timesheets, diaries and health and safety.
The work to be completed includes footpath construction/completion, driveways, external works including hard and soft landscaping and general finishings.
This role will require somebody to liaise with site foreman and the overall project manager and client representative; therefore, you will be required to split your time between the site and office.
About the Company/Client/Project:
The contractor are a regional contractor working across civil engineering and construction projects including ground works, road works, earthworks and excavation.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Suitable candidates should be in a position to start within couple of weeks and have proven experience of running ground works packages of work ideally in a housing environment. Also you will hold a current SMSTS, CSCS and First aid. Good IT skills are expected.
