About this Role:
Experienced Site Manager to work on a £15M new build hotel in North Oxford.
This 90 week project is a currently at demolition phase of the existing structure and then the construction of 5 floors, 214 rooms, RC frame, with a light weight structure on the top for private residential.
Reporting to the Project Manager on site you will be working with an established team including the Quantity Surveyor, Design Coordinator and Document Controller.
You will be responsible for managing all site based construction activities , health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, logistics, quality control, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, etc, snagging and handover.

A regional contractor with over 40 years’ experience in the construction industry working within the education, healthcare, hotels and leisure, residential, commercial, industrial, retail and community sectors.
Turnover of £30M in 2018 and projected turnover of £58M for 2019

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management, communication and communication skills. Proven track record of work for a top twenty main contractor would be advantageous.
Ideally from a trades, construction management or engineering background with a sharp eye for detail and finishes, you will possess strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, ‘get it right first time’ approach.

Minimum HNC/HND Building Studies or Construction related degree
SMSTS or IOSH
Asbestos awareness training
Ability to lead a team
