About this Role:

Experienced Site Manager required to work on a £1M care home refurbishment project in Redhill, Surrey.

Following projects will include local authority re clads, refurbishments and new builds, primary and secondary schools both new build and extensions, housing association new build and refurbishment and adult extra care facilities and retirement homes for a principal contractor values ranging from £1 - £5M

You will be responsible for managing site based construction activities for your section/buildings, including short-term programming of works, health and safety, review of method statements, risk assessments, call off of materials, site logistics, quality control, inspection and test plans, client liaison, coordination meetings, reporting on progress against program, issue resolution, etc, snagging and handover.

The successful candidate will be highly motivated and proactive, demonstrating excellent technical, organisational, man-management and communication skills,

About the Company/Client/Project:

Full Principle Contractor with an office in both Hampshire and Surrey covering the South of England working within the education, leisure, industrial and housing sectors.

Projects will include D&B and extensions and expansion projects.

25 years in the industry my client works within the construction, refurbishment, building maintenance and FM sectors.

This role is to work within the construction arm of the business. They have projects currently within education, leisure and industrial sectors and are looking to expand into the housing sector.

Projects range in value from £1-5M

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will ideally be educated to degree level or similar NVQ level, with a sharp eye for detail and quality throughout. 

You will have worked on similar projects within social housing, education and care homes both new build and refurbishment.

You will possess your SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications for this role.
