About this Role:
This is an outstanding opportunity for a Site Engineer to join a main contractor on a civil engineering project in Hampshire. The £14m project commences in March and is programmed for completion in early 2021. The scope of works will consist of bulk earthworks, structures, highway construction and drainage.
Throughout the duration of the project you will have support from the Senior Engineer and Site Agent. You will work with the site team to manage the direct workforce and specialist subcontractors on a day-to-day basis and have an input into the collaborative planning for work on site.
Setting out roads, earthworks and drainage with surveying equipment (GPS & Robotic Total Stations)
Manage all engineering activity providing direction to the direct workforce and subcontractors
Leading quality control to ensure the standards are met in accordance to the design specifications
Assist in producing permits to break ground (CAT Scanning management)
Ensuring the highest health, safety and environmental standards are met on site adhering to the client’s and business’s requirement
Review project design and work with the relevant stakeholders to propose solutions by raising RFI’s
Liaise with the site team to approve materials ensuring they meet specification
Keep accurate records of progress reports, site diaries and resource allocations
Produce as-built drawings in AutoCAD

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
You will hold minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification and relevant tickets.
