About this Role:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to join an established civil engineering contractor whom specialise in groundworks, infrastructure and highways. Due to increased work load and recent successful tenders they are looking to expand the team.
They are seeking a strong Site Engineer to develop the relationships in a new area and take ownership of the projects given and report back to the Site Agent and Project Manager. Their main aim of their projects is to alleviate traffic congestion, increase safety and control pollution levels in the area.
The business often self-delivers majority of entire projects and is ideally looking for you to have previous experience of self-delivering projects, being out on site, setting out for groundworks, structures, kerbs, drainage and more. The specific works including: highways, pedestrian and cyclist facilities, viaduct (rail crossing), culverts, balancing ponds and new junctions 278 works, section 38 works, associated street furniture, drainage, groundworks and earthworks.
Reporting to the onsite Agent and Project Manager, and will be one of a few Engineers on other project sites.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Ideally you will hold minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification with experience of self-delivering civil engineering projects.
You will also hold valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and further related construction certificates.
