About this Role:
Ambitious Site Engineer required to work with the project team on a £25m new build RC framed faculty building in Oxford.
The project is secured with works due to commence on site in October for an 18 month programme of works.
Working with the project team from commencement on site, you will be responsible for the technical engineering aspects of the project throughout construction, including some initial setting out, coordinating temporary works, review of design information, resolving technical queries and liaising with structural engineers, checking and QA for groundworks and RC frame subcontractors, management of external works, etc.
This programme for this project is in excess of 18months.
About the Company/Client/Project:
The role is with a leading national main contractor with a proven track record of delivering large new build schemes including faculty buildings, commercial offices, student accommodation, R&D facilities, etc.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
You will ideally be degree qualified, with experience of undertaking a similar role on a large new build project working for the main contractor. Experience of RC frame construction would be advantageous.
You will possess excellent communication skills, strong planning and problem solving ability, with a positive, ‘get it right first time’ approach, plus sound technical knowledge.

This is a permanent salaried role. There is scope to progress to take on management responsibilities within the team as the works progress, or to continue in the Engineer/Senior Engineer route working on other projects around the Oxford/Berkshire/Thames Valley area.
