About this Role:
My client is immediately looking for a site engineer for a £30 million RC framed industrial building to set out the subcontractor works and manage / check the QA over the next 18 months.
About the Company/Client/Project:
The role is with the project team on a high spec RC framed single story building over a number of blocks with associated complex services and internal partitions and external / info structure works.
Working with the project team checking the sub-contractors engineering with some setting out for internal walls and externals packages for smaller sub contactors.
You will be able to use Robotic instruments (preferably your own) and you will be dealing with technical issues across the site.
The scheme will be on site for around 20 months and you will be joining at the initial stages to deal with the bulk earthworks, setting out of piling, ground works and RC frame sub-contractors to get the job moving.
As the scheme progresses with a number of high tech blocks you will work with the services sub-contractors and your project team to solve issues, and be the technical lead for engineer works on site.

Requirements including certificates and Qualifications:
Applicants must have up to date CSCS as well as experience with every stage of the building process from piling to internals and final checking of sub-contractor works on projects in excess of £10 million in the past.
You will have experience with subcontractor management and setting out for sub contract gangs on the various buildings, car park and services
This is an immediate start for the right suitably qualified candidate and with on gong work and the opportunity to work on this project for the follow on phases.
Ideally you will be a degree qualified civil engineer from a main contractor background with previous history of 5 + years on sites and with up to date CSCS SMSTS and first aid.
