Site Agent/Manager (civil engineering/water)
About this Role:
No 1 site manager required to take responsibility for the construction of a 25m diameter caisson 17m deep to act as an attenuation tank for the storage of waste water.
This is a circa £5m package of works to support a new housing development. Also involved is a section 278 works package as well as the associated pipework to manage flow, discharge and return runs from local pumping station to the caisson shaft, M & E installation of all pumps and telemetry and Installation of a new Combined Sewer Overflow.
This position is for a standalone site manager who will have support from a project manager overseeing the development works, therefore, you will be required to have a proven background of delivering works and be responsible for co-ordination of sub-contractors, approving RAMS, manage H & S, monitor and maintain programme, liaise with designers and client, record change, manage temporary works, quality assurance, prepare all commissioning and O & M information and asbuilt drawings.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Candidates will have proven experience in the civil engineering sector, hold a current CSCS card and SMSTS. It is likely you will be qualified to HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering or a similar field desirable. Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative. Knowledge of water industry essential and minimum 5 years civil engineering management experience with a proven technical background.
