About this Role:
We have a great opportunity for a site Agent/Manager to work on a large infrastructure project for a tier 1 principle contractor. The scheme, running for another 2 years is phased sections of work involving road works, cycle and footpaths and infrastructure packages.

This particular requirement is for a Site Agent to manage a remediation and earthworks package of works to the value of approximately £2m.

Working for the tier 1 contractor as a site manager you will be required to manage the sub contractor carrying out the works to ensure works are carried out safely, to specification and within the programme. Duties will include Sub-contract management, design coordination, weekly contract meetings, contract programme updates, weekly planning meetings, cost reporting, safety inspections/reports, inductions, issuing PMI’s/CE’s.

The contractor is a leading multi-disciplined contractor working throughout the UK and overseas.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
The suitable candidate is required to have a background in civil engineering and be a proven manager with exposure to working for a Tier one contractor. A engineering degree or similar professional qualifications in a related discipline would be beneficial. Current CSCS card and ideally SMSTS, good IT skills are also essential.
