About this Role:
Schemes Agent required to deliver highways maintenance and improvement schemes up to £5m across the South East of England. You will plan, organise and supervise construction works to ensure they operate efficiently and meet the requirements of health & safety, cost, productivity, quality, and the environmental standards. Duties will include:
Ensure that all plant and equipment deployed on the network complies with current health and safety legislative requirements.
Complying with Environmental Management System regarding to day-to-day operational activities.
Monitor scheme construction programmes and resources
Review the drawings and specification to identify errors and omissions and seek to resolve
Liaise with site supervisors ensuring all works are in accordance with the specification and to the contract drawings
Conduct and record on-going interim physical measurements during works and upon works completion
Maintain records, and use these to manage and control resources.
Communicate issues of contractual correspondence.
Ensure that comprehensive records are maintained.
Maintain records of work related discussions with the design team.

A leading Infrastructure specialist with an annual turnover of £130m and an forward order book in the region of £750m. They have recently been awarded a prestigious 5+ year contract maintaining infrastructure across the South East of England.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Ideally you will be HNC/HND Civil Engineering or other relevant subject
SMSTS and CSCS Cards.
Ensure the systems in place comply with the clients standard.
Management of sub-contractors.
Good with Microsoft Project.
