Description

About this Role:

Experienced Quantity Surveyor required, delivering projects and services to Southern Water and other clients over a 5 year framework across Hampshire, Kent and Sussex. Using your experience you will be responsible for having an input within estimating, supply chain and design procurement. Working with the team you will always aim to maximise profitability within the terms of the NEC3 contract.

Duties will include:

Producing accurate and timely reports

Assisting with the procurement of subcontractors

Performance of the commercial aspects of projects

Provide support to junior commercial staff

Cost and value reporting

Cash flow forecasting

Negotiation with settlement of disputes in relation to customer and supplier accounts

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will hold a minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification with extensive knowledge in the Water industry.

Contract claims experience

Producing commercial reports.

Risk management.

Full knowledge of NEC Contracts.

Experience of supervising other commercial staff.

CSCS Card

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
