Description

About this Role:

Quantity Surveyor required to work with an expanding and progressive contractor alongside an experienced team. Live and upcoming projects include:

Flood defence schemes

Section 278 and Infrastructure works across MOD land

Industrial contamination prevention schemes/ Re-enforced concrete bund/walls.

Coastal protection schemes

Re-enforced concrete structures within dockyards

You will be responsible for compiling scopes of works and putting sub-contract packages out to tender,  analysis of tender returns, sub-contract procurement, undertaking measurement and valuations for payments, applications for interim payments, forecasts and budgets, settlement of final accounts.

About the Company/Client/Project:

The South Coast’s leading regional contractor, you will be attached to their Hampshire office. With the business working within the civil engineering and build sector you will be a part of their civil engineering team with a strong order book in coastal defence, aviation, defence, water, infrastructure and public realm.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You are likely to have 5 years’ experience and ideally be part or fully qualified to ONC/HNC or degree level in Civil Engineering or similar field.

This is a great opportunity to gain experience of working on complex and technically challenging projects with a leading contractor. This role offers ongoing training, development, and excellent promotional prospects.
