About this Role:
Project Manager required to join a growing civil engineering contractor which has recently been awarded the 1st phase of work for a new development in Hampshire, with the potential to deliver further phased works for up to 5 years’. The secured package of work valued in circa £1 million includes section 278 works; earthworks; road construction; storm drainage and utilities diversions.
The business self-deliver all of their projects and are ideally looking for you to have previous experience of self-delivering projects with a tier 2 or 3 contractor.
The right candidate will have the opportunity to support in winning tenders and securing further packages of work by building relationships with new and existing clients across the region. Upon securing new projects you will be responsible for recruiting a team specific to the projects and overseeing multiple live contracts. Successfully achieving this there is an outstanding opportunity to progress into a Contracts Manager position and continue to grow your area of the business.
You will report to the visiting Construction Director and manage your site team(s) traditionally consisting a General Foreman, Site Engineer(s) and direct labour force.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Ideally you will hold minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification with experience of self-delivering civil engineering projects.
