About this Role:
Recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-known national company with a solid reputation, we are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage and support the site based management teams.
You will have experience of Project Management on larger multi-phased volume projects. You will be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and be able to take ownership of any site issues that may arise and ensure that they are resolved accordingly and in a timely manner whilst ensuring the site and teams are adhering to all Health and Safety measures.
You will be managing all site resources, including; sub contract labour, plant, materials and all site based Health and Safety and quality procedures. This will include managing multiple work faces for several units at one time on a rolling programme of completions whilst keeping standards high and controlling the costs of the programme.
About the Company/Client/Project:
Our client has been operating for over 100 years, and has an enviable reputation for being a market leader in producing quality homes within an impressive timeframe. Their build teams have responsibility for the entire build program on the sites, they oversee the construction process, ensuing that the new homes are built to the highest standards in a safe environment. The Build teams work closely with the On-site Sales Teams in assisting with the hand-over of the new homes to their customers.
Requirements including certificates and qualifications:
Previous experience as Project Manager or Senior Site Manager for a high volume house builder
Ability to chair and run meetings
Proven track record of motivating and managing a team effectively
Up to date knowledge of health and safety obligations and building legislation
ONC or HNC in Building Construction or NVQ Level 4/5 or similar
CSCS card at Site Manager level
Strong interpersonal skills
