Description

About this Role:

Planner required to join a tier one civil engineering contractor delivering some of the UK’s largest infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Head Of Planning you will prepare and develop detailed and accurate construction programmes for major structures, rail and roadworks. You’ll have the ability to work collaboratively, acting upon clear and realistic goals and needs to achieve them.

Duties will include:

Identify and communicate programme risks to the team

Assist in the production of 3-week construction programmes

Review and incorporate subcontractors and suppliers programmes

Liaise with the project team on resource requirements

Explain project milestones and planned outputs to the project team

Monitor and report on outputs and progress – identifying and explain any necessary actions

Maintain the as-built programmes

Prepare programmes to provide support for claims

About the Company/Client/Project:

A tier one contractor delivering on some of the worlds most prestigious civil engineering projects. The role is to work with Wiltshire based head office on a permanent basis with the Technical Services department.

Requirements including certificates and qualifications:

You will hold a minimum of HNC/HND Civil Engineering qualification with ideally 5 years’ site experience.

Candidates must be able to prove their eligibility to work in the UK
