Assistant Site Manager
About this Role:
Assistant site manager is required on this new build industrial High tech factory and office project on site initially for cover with the possibility of 18 months of work.
About the Company/Client/Project:
Working the early stages through to fit out and handover over the next few months. You will be responsible for the management of the fit out sub-contractors on a new build steel frame building, dealing with the management of the out on site snagging, coordination and health and safety through to handover on this D&B project.
Reporting to the senior site manager you will be one of the team contributing to the driving force on this project looking after both internals and some structural/brickwork packages as the eyes and areas to problem solve, internal finishes and snagging.
You will be managing the sub-contractors to keep the areas moving and looking after the site safety of the contractors as required.
Requirements including certificates and Qualifications:
Ideally candidates will have previous main contractor experience working on main contractor projects in excess of £10 million in the past along with the ability to display a steady work history at each contractor on your CV with start to finish projects.
A well-grounded trades background of professional construction or engineering degree or similar qualification is preferred as well as up to date CSCS card as a minimum with First Aid and SMSTS.
