Job Description:
The client contractor specialises in high quality refurbishment and fit out projects for a wide range of clients in the retail sector, including two key national frameworks.
As Project Surveyor you will be responsible for financial control across schemes from pre-contract to final account, predominantly Bristol office based with site travel on a national scale 2 days a week .
Involved from the early stages on projects, you will be responsible for finalising the design and setting the project budgets with the Project Manager, architect and consultants, procurement of sub-contract packages and materials, measurement of work and management of sub-contract packages, valuations for payment, negotiating client interim payments, pricing and agreeing variation, financial forecasting and reporting to the Commercial Manager.
You will be degree qualified, with a proven track record of success in the fit out and refurbishment retail market with a main contractor.
Excellent commercial, contractual and technical knowledge, communication skills and management ability will be very well rewarded with clear long-term development prospects, competitive salary and package.
